Go on an equal-edge lattice — stones on the intersections. ⊞ Games
HEXA-GO is Go on an equal-edge lattice. Stones sit on the intersections; two points are connected (share a liberty) when an edge joins them. Pick the board: triangular gives each point 6 neighbours, elongated (squares + triangles) gives 5. Black plays first; players alternate placing one stone on any empty point.
Capture. Connected same-colour stones form a group sharing their empty-point liberties. Fill a group's last liberty and it is captured (becomes your prisoners). You may not play a stone with no liberties (suicide) unless it captures, and ko forbids an immediate repeating recapture.
Ending & scoring. Two passes end the game. Score is by territory: your surrounded empty points + your prisoners (+ {{komi}} komi for White). Placed stones aren't counted. Most points wins. Capture dead stones before passing so they count.
The AI uses Monte-Carlo playouts — it thinks about a second per move.
